  1. Introduction

Welcome to Giro Concept. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our downloadable guides “ Cycling in Tuscany Guide” and “The Ultimate Restaurant and Winery Guide”. By downloading or using the Guide, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from downloading or using the Guide.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts in England.

Biking Tours

  • Terms and Conditions for Giro Concept Tours
  • Booking Requirements:
      • To ensure availability of bikes and a tour guide, bookings must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
  • Signing the Agreement:
      • All participants must sign the Terms and Conditions form at Florence by Bike before starting the tour.
  • Bike Responsibility:
      • Giro Concept is not responsible for any damage to or loss of bikes during the rental period.
      • Customers renting bikes are fully responsible for any damage, theft, or loss (total or partial) of the bike.
  • Insurance Recommendation:
      • We strongly recommend that all clients and their guests have appropriate travel and medical insurance to cover any potential incidents, injuries, or cancellations.
  • Safety and Conduct:
      • Participants are expected to follow all local traffic laws and use the provided safety gear during the tour.
  • Age range:
      • All participants must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • Cancellations
      • Cancellations made 10 days or more before the tour will receive a full refund, while cancellations within 5 days will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Climate Conditions
      • The tour is subject to weather conditions and may be rescheduled or cancelled in the event of unsafe conditions.
  • Acknowledgment:
    • By booking, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.

Trips

1. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings for wine trips in Italy must be made through our website or by direct communication with our team.
  • Full payment or a £500 deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance, if applicable, must be paid 10 weeks in advance before the departure.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation by You: If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. The following cancellation fees will apply:
    • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund, minus a £100 administrative fee.
    • Between 15 and 30 days before departure: 50% refund.
    • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
  • Cancellation by Us: In the rare event that we need to cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions), we will offer you either a full refund or an alternative date for your trip.
  • Cancellation Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance to protect yourself in case of unexpected events that may prevent you from attending the trip.

3. Travel Insurance

  • We recommend that all travelers have comprehensive travel insurance that covers health, accidents, and personal belongings, as well as trip cancellations.

4. Health and Safety

  • Participants must inform us of any medical conditions or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically fit for the trip activities. If you have any concerns about your ability to participate, please consult with a healthcare professional before booking.

5. Liability and Responsibility

  • While we take great care in ensuring the safety and quality of all trips, we are not liable for personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal property during the trip, except where caused by our gross negligence.
  • We are not responsible for any delays or disruptions caused by third parties (e.g., transport providers, suppliers).

6. Group Sizes and Changes

  • Wine trips are typically limited to a small group of participants. If a minimum number of participants is not met, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the trip. You will be notified in advance and offered an alternative or full refund.

7. Alcohol Consumption

  • As part of our wine trips, you will be visiting vineyards and participating in wine tastings. We ask that you drink responsibly and adhere to local laws regarding alcohol consumption.
  • You must be over the age of 18 to participate in the wine tasting activities.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We take your privacy seriously. Any personal information you provide will be used only for the purpose of your booking and to ensure the smooth operation of the trip.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

  • These terms and conditions are governed by English Law  and the relevant laws of Italy, where applicable.
  • In case of any disputes, we encourage resolution through amicable discussion. If that is not possible, disputes may be resolved through the courts in England.

10. Changes to These Terms

  • We reserve the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you prior to your booking or trip.

  • We are not responsible for any allergies not reported in advance.
  • Cancellation and Refunds

Private Tastings

  1. Introduction

Welcome to Giro Concept.  By booking a private wine tasting with us, you (“the customer” or “you”) agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

  1. Booking and Payment
  • All bookings must be made in advance through our website, by phone, or by email.
  • Full payment must be made to confirm your booking
  • Payments can be made via credit/debit card, bank transfer or paypal.
  1. Cancellations and Refunds
  • Cancellations made 10 days before the event will receive a full refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made less than 5 days before the event will result in a 50% charge of the total booking fee.
  • No shows are non refundable
  • In the event of unavoidable circumstances on our part (e.g., staff illness), we will offer alternative dates or a full refund.
  1. Age Restrictions
  • You must be at least 18 years old to book and participate in our wine tasting events.
  • By booking, you confirm that you are of legal drinking age in the UK.
  1. Event Details
  • The event will be conducted at the location agreed upon during the booking.
  • We reserve the right to adjust the event duration, menu, or format in case of unforeseen circumstances.
  • If the customer requests specific wine preferences, we will make every effort to accommodate, but cannot guarantee availability.
  1. Responsibilities and Conduct
  • Customers must ensure they and their guests behave in a respectful and responsible manner throughout the event.
  • We reserve the right to end the session early if guests engage in disruptive or dangerous behavior.
  1. Liability
  • We will not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property unless caused by our gross negligence.
  • You are responsible for the safety of yourself and your guests during the event.
  1. Privacy
  • We respect your privacy. Any personal data you provide will be used only to fulfill your booking and comply with relevant legal requirements.
  1. Force Majeure
  • We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
  1. Changes to Terms and Conditions
  • We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to all bookings made after the change is implemented.
  1. Governing Law
  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England.

Winery Visits

Terms and Conditions for Tuscany Wine Tours

  1. General Information

1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all wine tours provided by Giro Concept

1.2 By booking a tour with us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. Booking and Payment

2.1 All bookings must be made through https://giroconcepttours.com, A deposit of 100% is required to secure your booking.

  1. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1 If you cancel your booking:

  • 10 days or more before the tour date: Full refund, minus any non-refundable deposits.
  • Less than 5 days before the tour date: No refund.

3.2 In the unlikely event that we cancel the tour, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

3.3 Refunds will not be issued for no-shows or for participants who miss the tour for any reason.

  1. Participant Responsibilities

4.1 All participants must be at least 18 years old.

4.2 Participants must be in suitable health for the tour activities. Giro Concept is not liable for any health issues that arise during or after the tour.

4.3 It is the participant’s responsibility to inform us of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or special requirements prior to the tour.

  1. Liability

5.1 Giro Concept is not liable for:

  • Loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the tour.
  • Any injuries or accidents that occur due to the negligence of participants or third parties.

5.2 Participants are advised to obtain travel insurance that covers cancellation, personal injury, and loss of personal belongings.

  1. Itinerary and Changes

6.1 The itinerary is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions or supplier availability. We will make every effort to provide a suitable alternative.

6.2 Giro Concept reserves the right to modify or cancel any tour without prior notice if circumstances demand.

  1. Conduct

7.1 Participants are expected to behave respectfully and follow the guidance of the tour leader.

7.2 Giro Concept  reserves the right to remove participants from the tour for disruptive or inappropriate behavior, with no refund.

  1. Force Majeure

8.1 Giro Concept shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or interruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.
